Local Businesses to Fill the Pantry at UCM with the Open House-Open Hearts® Fundraiser

For the third year, local business owner Daniel Sanders, of Four Sales Ltd is working with a local realtor to combine their expertise to raise funds and food to assist UCM in its mission. This year Four Sales will be partnering with McEnearney Associates realtor, Elizabeth Lucchesi, in hosting the Open House Open Hearts Fundraiser to Fill United Community Ministry’s Food Pantry.  The event is scheduled for April 10, 2011 from 2 pm to 5  pm.  

 Every weekend, interested buyers and curiosity seekers flock to open houses and estate sales to discover hidden treasures in the real estate and resale markets.  The Open House-Open Hearts fundraiser satisfies the weekend explorers’ need to see what is available on the housing market by profiling a premier property in Alexandria, Virginia.   Visitors can enjoy the home, listen to local musicians, and sip award winning Marterella wines and taste delicacies from local companies.    The Community Heart Award will be given to a local citizen committed to the welfare of our community.

There will also be a market place where buyers can bid on silent auction items and purchase other valuable items and services from the local business community.  The profits from the market place will be donated to United Community Ministries.
