Open House-Open Hearts was started by Four Sales Ltd, working together in the 1st year with Lawanda Swope of Weichert Realtors and in the 2nd year with Pat Flynn of Keller Williams Realty, as an “everyone welcome” charity event intended to address pressing needs in our local community.

This Four Sales sponsored event combines the very best elements of an estate sale / auction, an open house and an opportunity to open our hearts to the community.

Together with top-producing realtor, Elizabeth Lucchesi of McEnearney Associates Realtors, we are working hard to help families in Fairfax County in 2011.

Just bring a bag of non-perishable food items like soup, cereal, tomato sauce, macaroni & cheese, or other items on the list to get into the event.

In FY 2009 UCM distributed 653,085 lbs. of food valued at $1,182,086
UCM provided life-changing assistance to 13,193 individuals from 5,034 families, or167 lbs. of food per household
In the last six months of 2009, UCM gave emergency food to 7,241 people, as compared to 6,775 in 2008 - a 6.9% increase
The average length of time for emergency food assistance is 14 weeks
